Included in every plan

The things other systems charge extra for are part of the base price here.

No transaction fees

We never take a percentage of your sales. Your payment provider sets its own rate, and nothing flows through us.

Use the hardware you own

POSolid runs in a browser and as an Android and iOS app. A tablet, an old laptop or a phone works — there is no proprietary terminal to buy.

Kitchen display included

The KDS is part of the product, not a paid add-on. Any spare screen in the kitchen becomes an order display.

Updates and support

Every release, every new feature and email support are in the price for as long as you subscribe.

What a POS system really costs

The subscription is rarely the whole bill. These are the four costs worth budgeting for before you sign anything — with any vendor.

1
Software subscription

Usually billed per venue or per till, monthly. Check whether the price rises with every extra terminal, and whether the features you actually need sit in the plan you priced.

2
Hardware

A tablet or terminal, a receipt printer, a cash drawer and a card reader. The largest one-off cost, and the one you can cut most by using devices you already own.

3
Fiscal and legal compliance

In Poland and much of the EU a fiscal printer or online cash register is a legal requirement, with its own purchase and servicing cost. Confirm the POS actually drives the model you buy.

4
Setup and switching

Loading the menu, training staff, and the days of lost speed while everyone learns. A system your team picks up in an afternoon is cheaper than a discounted one they never master.

Pricing questions

How much does a restaurant POS system cost?

Software subscriptions across the market run from modest entry tiers to enterprise pricing several times higher, usually charged per till per month. The table above shows exactly where POSolid sits in your region. Budget separately for hardware and, in the EU, for a fiscal device — those are normally the larger numbers in year one.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can create an organization and use POSolid free while you evaluate it, with no card required. Your data stays yours if you decide to continue.

Do you charge a percentage of my sales?

No. POSolid charges a flat subscription and takes no cut of your revenue. What your payment provider charges for accepting cards is a separate agreement between you and them.

Do I have to buy your hardware?

No. POSolid runs in any modern browser and as an Android or iOS app, so tablets, phones and laptops you already own will work. You only need to buy a receipt or fiscal printer if you do not already have one.

What happens if I add another venue or till?

Plans differ by how many users and devices they include. If you outgrow one you move up a plan — nothing is switched off without warning, and you can change plan at any point in the month.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You can export your catalogue and your order history before you leave.

Try it before you pay for it.

Set up your menu, run a few orders through the register and watch the kitchen display working — then decide.
